Hypatia: A Journal of Feminist Philosophy is a peer-reviewed academic journal borne out of SWIP in 1982 by founding editor Azizah Y. al-Hibri. Initially published as piggy-back issues of the Women's Studies International Forum, it became independent in 1986. The journal features scholarly research at the intersection of philosophy and women's studies and is committed to promoting diversity within both feminist philosophy, and women's experiences. The journal is still going strong today.
